Ghormley Meadow Christian Camp is located 45 minutes west of Yakima, WA in the Cascade Mountains of the Wenatchee National Forest. The area surrounding camp has been described as the “Mecca” of mountain biking in central Washington. Ghormley Meadow is known throughout the region for its excellent summer youth camps and as a rental retreat facility for groups of all ages.

 Lodging at Ghormley Meadow is available on a first come first served basis. We have a variety of options available to suit your family’s needs. The base cost is for a single room (sleeps 10-12) in a large lodge with shared bathroom facilities. For an extra fee we have one room cabins (sleeps 8) with a private bathroom. Also available at a discounted rate are several gender separated hostel type cabins with a bathouse nearby.

Food at Ghormley is well known as excellent and abundant. This is not your childhood camp food. We offer a soup and salad bar with every lunch and dinner. Some planned menu items are prime rib and a BBQ on the meadow. We are also proud to offer our “Nearly World Famous Brunch” which includes made to order omelets, Belgian waffles, and homemade pizza.

We hope that you will join us for the full weekend but we understand that Labor Day is a busy weekend. For those who cannot make it Friday night we do have an option for beginning Saturday at lunch.  If you would prefer to come just for the day there is a day use fee and all meals can be purchased separately. Everything is discounted for a full weekend package.  

Mountain Biking is plentiful around Ghormley Meadow and beautiful Rimrock Lake. Guided trail rides for all ages and skill levels will take place throughout the weekend. A kids bike carnival and adult skills challenge are being planned as well. Please bring your own bikes.

 White water rafting is a highlight of the fall season along the Tieton River. We have partnered with Wet Planet Rafting to offer a special discounted rate for a Sunday afternoon raft trip as part of the full weekend package. Day use guests are welcome to join us at an additional fee. Children must be 10 or over to go rafting.
